What they neglect to mention is that fish don't have pain receptors in their mouths AT ALL. So fishing (especially catch and release) isn't inhumane at all. PETA needs to go away.... gather all their supporters into a rocket, and blast themselves into the sun.
Fish are made for EATING. Without fishing, their populations would skyrocket and destroy the ecosystem (since they don't really have enough natural predators these days) PETA are a bunch of morons...

I completely agree...
With everyone when they say that PETA is really a group of idiots. PETA says that milking a cow is inhumane, so they suggest HUMAN breast milk. o_o;
As for fish is concerned, there already is a fish with a feline designation: a CATFISH.
Stupid PETA.

I like Rush's brand of PETA better: People for the Eating of Tasty Animals. Humans are omnivoires and we should eat fish and meat along with fruits and veggies. Also those animals are going to die one way or another. If they aren't eaten by people, they'll be eaten by other animals or die from disease and old age. So you aren't exactly going prevent them from suffering death, you'll just change how they'll die.
At least when you eat them, you know they died for a good reason (keeping people alive and heathly).
